About Me
Half Sikh, half German, and at home wherever the wind blows.
For me, photography is the art of capturing the freedom I find in nature. My connection to the elements began in childhood, building kites and later racing across the sands in wind-powered buggies. At 19, I discovered kitesurfing – the ultimate dialogue with the wind. Today, I translate that same energy into clear, natural imagery.
Having lived in Ireland, South Korea, and India, my perspective has been shaped by diverse cultures and vast landscapes. From the rugged coastlines of Portugal to the mountains of South Africa, I’ve learned that every place has its own silent power. As the German poet Goethe once said: “Travel educates” – and for me, every journey is a lesson in light and perspective.
In my projects, I seek the unadulterated and the sense of wonder we often lose in everyday life: a child fascinated by raindrops, a solitary figure on a beach, or a quiet encounter with a fire salamander on the Camino de Santiago or the St. Francis Walk in Tuscany.
I am fascinated by the play of light on waves and the humbling realization of how small we are compared to the immense power of nature. Whether on a remote mountain peak or a fleeting moment in the vibrant streets of a city – I seek the silent power of the moment.
I invite you to discover the world through my lens.
